Dawn is an artist based in Nottinghamshire. Her work is impressionistically led with a whimsical feel. Her artistic career began at a young age. As a child, most of her spare time was spent drawing and painting. Dawn's impulsive use and obsession with colour was recognised by teaching professionals very early on, and in her own words, this is the essence of her signature style. She loves to experiment with various mediums and techniques. Her inspiration comes from nature, flowers and trees and then in her own unique way, translates this into colourful creations.

Dawn loves to spread positivity through her art, and is fine tuned into how colours can have such a beneficial influence on your well-being. Dawn follows the "law of attraction" closely, which encourages a positive mindset which can lead to a more open and creative mind. She believes this openness can help not only her strive towards her artistic goals, but also it benefits the viewers, enriching lives through magnificent colour and inspiration.

Dawn featured as a Wild Card' artist on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year'. Dawn has been represented by Whistlefish Galleries based in Devon and Cornwall and has been featured in the American magazine 'In her Studio'. Dawn was featured on the 90's television programme 'Our House" after designing a mural for an interior wall. Dawn has Sold her art worldwide and exhibited in Italy, Austria, Paris (Carrousel Du Louvre) and London.

A vivid piece of art featuring an array of vibrant dahlias, their petals exploding with intense colors that draw the eye immediately. The flowers dominate the composition with bold shades of crimson, fiery orange, magenta, purple and golden yellow, each petal complimenting the next. The aim was  to capture the impulsive  feel  of the blooms. The dahlias appear layered and textured, almost three-dimensional, as if they’re bursting out from the canvas. The background is a softer, blurred blend of greens and warm tones, which serves to highlight the brightness of the flowers. The brushwork is dynamic and fluid, conveying a sense of movement and life, as if the dahlias are caught in a gentle breeze. The overall effect is one of energy, joy, and the exuberant beauty of nature in its most colorful form.
